Preparation for Brow Lamination

Patch Test
A patch test is recommended to rule out allergic reactions to lamination products. Schedule this online at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.

Skin and Medications

  • Avoid Retin-A, retinols, tretinoin, or other topical exfoliants for 7 days prior to your appointment.

  • Do not book if you have taken antibiotics or steroids within the past 7 days, as these medications can make the skin more sensitive.

  • Brow lamination is not recommended if you are currently using Accutane (isotretinoin) or have used it in the last 6 months.

  • Inform me of any medical conditions or treatments that could affect the skin.

Avoid Tweezing/Waxing
Do not tweeze or wax your brows at least two weeks prior to your appointment. This allows me to work with the full natural growth of your brows for optimal results.

Skin Prep

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyebrows. Showering before your appointment is recommended.

  • Avoid applying creams, oils, or serums to the brow area on the day of your appointment.

  • Refrain from tanning or using self-tanners at least 48 hours prior, as this can increase the risk of irritation.

Brow Lamination Aftercare

First 24 Hours Post-Treatment

  • Avoid water, steam, or moisture on the brows.

  • Do not rub or touch the brows excessively.

  • Avoid sleeping on your brows to maintain their shape.

  • Refrain from applying makeup, lotions, or creams to the brows.

  • Avoid hot environments like saunas, steam baths, hot yoga, or jacuzzis.

  • Avoid any other facial beauty treatments.

After 24 Hours

  • Apply nourishing brow oil daily to hydrate and condition your brows.

  • Brush brows into your desired style regularly to maintain the lamination effect.
