INITIAL AFTERCARE
* Aftercare kit provided
Day 1:
For the first 3 hours, gently dab your brows every hour using the provided gauze or cotton rounds.
Lightly press to absorb any fluid without rubbing.
Before bed, gently dab your brows with a water wipe, then blot dry with a clean paper towel.
Take a rice grain-sized amount of aftercare balm on your fingertip. Dab the balm between two fingers, then lightly glide it across both brows. This amount covers both brows, not a rice grain per brow.
Days 2-3:
Morning and night, use a fresh water wipe to gently dab the brows, then blot dry with a clean paper towel.
Apply aftercare balm using the same rice grain amount / two-finger technique.
Ongoing Routine (Day 4 Until Scabs Fall Off Naturally)
Morning and night, gently wash or rinse your brows with cool water only, outside of the shower. Look in the mirror for better control.
Wipe/pat gently in the direction of hair growth—avoid circles or hard rubbing.
Rinse with cool water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Apply a small amount of aftercare balm using the rice grain/ two-finger technique.
Continue this routine until all scabs have naturally flaked off, which may take up to 14 days.
Important Healing Tips (7-14 days)
Avoid moisture: No sweating, saunas, steam rooms, or direct sun exposure
Hands off: Do not pick, peel, or scratch the flakes. This can cause uneven healing or scarring
Face washing: Use a washcloth to cleanse your face, avoiding the brow area
No products: Avoid makeup, creams, skincare products, tweezing, or waxing near the brows until fully healed.
LONG TERM CARE FOR BEST RESULTS
SUN PROTECTION - After all the flaking has come off (around 14 days) apply an SPF 50 daily to prevent fading and/or discolouration of the area.
SKIN - Avoid laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, chemical exfoliators, and peels around your brow area. Always let your technician know you have had cosmetic tattooing done to your brows.
SWIMMING - Salt and/or chlorinated water can cause your brows to lighten as well as change colour. Help prevent this by covering your brows with Vaseline or liquid bandaid when doing these activities.
COLOUR REFRESHERS/ TOUCHUPS - Color refreshers/ touch-ups are recommended every 12-24 months to keep brows looking fresh!
